XXXV INTERNATIONAL CULTURE AND PEACE CONVENTION OF GERNIKA

April, 23th -26th

XXXV INTERNATIONAL CULTURE AND PEACE CONVENTION OF GERNIKA

Organised in collaboration with the City Council of Gernika-Lumo on the dates commemorating the 88th anniversary of the bombing of the town, from 23 to 26 April 2025.

The XXXV International Conference on Culture and Peace of Gernika opens a space for dialogue to share the participatory action research processes that Gernika Gogoratuz is promoting in Colombia, Mozambique and the Basque Country.

On the one hand, the Semilleras Internacionalistas por la Paz (Internationalist Seedbeds for Peace) process aims to make visible the efforts that women’s organisations and feminist grassroots collectives are making for peace as active agents in the non-violent transformation of conflicts on a daily, local and globally interconnected level.

On the other hand, with the Triple Nexus project, the results and lessons learned are shared in order to contribute to the construction of peace in complex contexts of emergencies caused by armed conflicts.

INFORMATION:

Registration for the conference is free of charge and it is necessary to send the registration form.
