The project aims to document and make visible the different strategies and work that Human Rights defenders are carrying out for the construction of peace in Colombia.

  • Gloria Cuartas Montoya, author, Human Rights Defender in Colombia. Mayor of Apartadó (1995-1997).
  • María Ovidia Palechor Anacona, author, Yanakuna indigenous leader. Human Rights Defender, Colombia.
  • Yolanda Perea, Human Rights Defender, Colombia.
  • Rosalba Ipia, Human Rights Defender, Colombia.
  • Alba Luz Trigo, Human Rights Defender, Colombia.
  • Álvaro González Blanco, Human Rights Defender.
  • Vicenta Moreno, Human Rights Defender, Colombia.

The event is organised by AiPAZ, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, with the collaboration of the Fundación Cultura de Paz and Gernika Gogoratuz.
